10 March's activity

For this week class, Mr Radzi gives a task to us, which is the first step is to select two animals, and then combine it.. After that, he adds that the new animals could be alive maybe just a few minutes; I was thinking about it, but still can't get it.. haha, its okey, i've 'created' a new mutant animals, which is :-

1) a Duck + Eagle = becomes Ducgle,
2) a Cow + Zebra = Cowbra,
3) a Butterfly + Elephant = it becomes a Butterphant.. heheeh

So, these are my mutants that i come out with, check it out!



Lastly, Mr Radzi gives his own answer which is the merged animals that couldn't survive for a long time is a Bird + fish.. yeah, surely because if we got it, where should we place it? Is it in a bird cage or an aquarium? hermm, i really agree with his idea, pretty nice!!


After that, we are continueing our class activity by Mr. Radzi. We are supposed to produce a poem which is using two words; the first combination is Chilli and Love, then Car and Life, and the last one is Rubbish and Woman. hahaa, check these out!!!

Life and car,
Seems like both are same,
Really makes me die,

Supposed to be my wife,
Will bring it anywhere,

Its my life...

Garbage and Woman
I like girls,
They look so good,
In a dustbin,
Can't wait to see them inside it,
Might be sexy,
Might be hot,
their fragrance,
Like a dust in a bin.

Juxtaposition

On this week class, Mr Radzi started his lecture with a "never heard before" word, called Juxtaposition. As i search it on Internet, specifically in Wikipedia, the word 'juxtaposition' is literary synonymous with 'contrast'.

3 March's activity

Our class for this week is getting exciting and interesting, because there are an activity which called as Juxtaposition. So, we are asked by Mr Radzi to choose 3 numbers between 00 and 99. Then, my selected numbers are 30, 52, 87. Then, Mr Radzi shows us a list of words, then there are a number beside of each words..

hahaha nice combination right..? therefore, we are supposed to create images for the combined words..

24 February's activity

For this week class, we have been given a lecture of the differences of logical and associated mindmap. Then, about 30 minutes before our class ended, we are asked to create a logical mindmap, but this time is quite interesting because we are supposed to create a mindmap about our devil side. Check it out.

17th February's Activity..

In this class, we have been given a simple activity among us, which is about visualization of our partner; we must pair up, then ask 10 questions about him/her. After that, we need to visualize that person by sketch it, or the exactly word is to create a metaphor for him/her. So, Veera is the lucky person who has been my partner.

Novelty,Innovation And Invention?

During last week class, we have been thought about novelty, innovation, and invention. So, i've found all meaning for these. Below are the description for these three terms..

Novelty
For this word, i found the meaning from Wikipedia, which means the quality of being new. Although it may be said to have an objective dimension (e.g. a new style of art coming into being, such as abstract art or impressionism) it essentially exists in the subjective perceptions of individuals. It also refers to something novel; that which is striking, original or unusual. The term can have pejorative sense and refer to a mere innovation.

Innovation
The second point to consider is the innovation. This term in Wikipedia, means a new way of doing something. It may refer to incremental, radical, and revolutionary changes in thinking, products, processes, or organizations. According to http://www.realinnovation.com/content/what_is_innovation.asp, an innovation can be big or small. Brand-new or just a bit different, it doesn’t matter. An innovation can be clearly complex or seemingly simple. Innovations are often thought of in terms of technical achievement, but can also be a design. The type, industry and style of innovation are irrelevant; an innovation’s impact determines its qualification.

Invention
As usual, lets start finding the definition via Wikipedia first. An invention is the creation of a new configuration, composition of matter, device, or process. Some inventions are based on pre-existing models or ideas. Other inventions are radical breakthroughs which may extend the boundaries of human knowledge or experience.

What? Creative or Creativity?

Assalamualaikum and hello guys.. Dafi here. I have created this blog specially for my MLC-1013(Creative Studies) subject. So, referring to the topic, i would like to share my researches about it. Based on my studies, i'm going to explain what creative and creativity are about.

*Creative
First and foremost, lets gain our knowledge by understanding the meaning of "creative". According to Wikipedia, which was quoted from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Creative , the word creative (noun, in advertising), referring to materials, imagery, or collateral prescriptively produced through creativity and the creative process.

*Creativity
The second point to consider is about "creativity". i have quoted the meaning from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Creativity , which said creativity is a mental and social process involving the generation of new ideas or concepts, or new associations of the creative mind between existing ideas or concepts, creativity is fueled by the process of either conscious or unconscious insight. An alternative conception of creativeness is that it is simply the act of making something new.
